Appalachian Branch of the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science Winter Meeting Hosted by ORNL (January 1999)

The winter meeting of the Appalachian Branch of AALAS (American Association for Laboratory Animal Science) was held at ORNL on Friday, January 29, at the Environmental Sciences Division' s D. J. Nelson Auditorium. Appalachian Branch members include animal care staff, veterinarians, and researchers from the University of Tennessee, East Tennessee State, Vanderbilt, Meharry, and ORNL. This is the first time ORNL has hosted an AALAS Branch Meeting. The presentations were intended to provide a general overview of animal-related activities at ORNL.
